Ingredients
4 Cosmic Crisp apples, cored and halved
½ cup Heinen’s old fashioned oats
½ cup Heinen’s light brown sugar
⅓ cup Heinen’s raw pecans, chopped
1 tsp. Heinen’s ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
½ tsp. salt
¼ cup Heinen’s butter, melted
¼ cup water
1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish and set aside.
  2. Scoop out the center of the apples so there is space for the oatmeal filling.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, raw pecans, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and salt. Stir well.
  4. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.
  5. Spoon the mixture into the center of the prepared apples and place in the prepared baking dish. Fill the baking dish with the water and lemon juice.
  6. Bake uncovered for 50–60 minutes, until tender.
